Hyundai has been doing great, sonata, accent, genesis, elantra and the new veloster hyundai has improve dramatically in recent years. But with the Equus i think Hyundai is pushing it too far i dont believe many people are willing to pay 60k$ for a hyundai when they can show off in a BMW,Mercedes,Lexus etc for that kind of money. The most importan reason people buy those brand i mentioned is for show off and for 60k$ you can show off in other premium brands instead.
